What is Nani?+
Nani is desktop accounting software for small businesses. Import bank and card statements, organize income and expenses, review your finances, and prepare a year-end package for your CPA. Connect your own AI for additional help.
Do I need an AI subscription?+
No. Nani works on its own. If you connect a hosted AI, its subscription or API charges are separate. Supported local models can run on your own computer.
What does my license include?+
One Nani license covers two computers and includes 12 months of updates. Your purchased version remains yours to use afterward, subject to activation and periodic license verification. There is no recurring Nani subscription.
Does my accounting data stay on my computer?+
Your encrypted company file stays on your computer. If you choose a hosted AI, information shared through its tools is processed by that provider. License verification sends your key, which contains your name and email, a computer ID, and the app version. It does not send your financial records.
Can I explore it before buying?+
Yes. Nani includes a fictional sample company you can explore without a license. Imports, exports, and AI connections require a license. There is no time-based free trial.
What if I need help?+
Start with our searchable Help Center or send a message through the support form. Billing, activation, and product questions all go to the same team. Refund requests can be made within seven days of purchase.
