Nani checks for updates. You choose when to install. Your one-time license includes 12 months of updates; after that, the version you have keeps working, subject to license verification.

Never an interruption.
When a version is ready, Nani shows a banner with what’s new. Install and restart downloads it before closing your company file cleanly. Later puts it off for the session.

What the 12 months means
Your purchase includes updates released during the 12 months after purchase. When that period ends, the version you have remains usable under your license. There is no recurring Nani subscription or license-verification fee.
The license still needs activation and periodic online checks. Nani normally checks weekly when connected; each successful verification allows up to 60 days of offline use.
Before a change, keep a backup
Choose your backup folder in Backup and security and use Back up now before updating. Backups stay encrypted. Restoring makes a new company file rather than overwriting your existing one.
If something needs attention
Read the banner, check your connection and open Backup and security to try again. If you’re still stuck, send support your app version, operating system and the message you see. Don’t include a company file or financial documents unless you have discussed a safe way to share them.
