Meet the maker
Hi, I’m Adam.
I built Nani.
I’m a software and AI developer in Bend, Oregon. I wanted accounting software I could buy once, connect to my own AI, and use to get the work done.

A note from me
Why I
built Nani.
For 25 years, I paid for accounting software and bookkeeping help. Monthly subscriptions, then more money just to get everything ready for tax time. I wanted a simpler way.
So I built Nani: accounting software you buy once, with tools to keep your records organized and prepare a clear year-end package for your CPA.
I also wanted the AI I already use to be able to work with my accounting. To help me understand what changed, find the records behind a question, and prepare work I could review. That’s why Nani connects to your AI, with your accounting records and tools ready for it to use.
We interviewed CPAs about what they wanted to receive, then used those conversations to shape the year-end handoff. The point is to give them organized records they can work with.
I take this personally.
I support my family by building software, and I take that work seriously. I read every support email and every suggestion. I can’t promise every feature, but I want to keep building more of what makes Nani useful to you.
Thanks for supporting what I’m building.
Adam
The story behind the name
Why Nani?
Nanni wrote a letter.
I built an app.
Nearly 4,000 years ago, a merchant named Nanni complained on a clay tablet about the copper he’d been offered. Thousands of years later, being unhappy with what you’re paying for is still pretty relatable.
The name is a nod to him, with one less “n.”
